Concerning WordPress, if you need to save money, the free version is like buying a car from the dealership with the economy package, though it’s a full-size sedan. You can upgrade and it will be like upgrading a car with the dealership package. If you host it yourself so that you can add on all sorts of ‘plug-ins’ you are essentially adding after-market parts and customizing it.
